Everyday as I listen to news reports from the around the world and ponder from a far off perspective our “known” collective history, I think how would a more highly evolved being summarize our collective experience and it came to me in these simple words; They failed and they continue to fail…
As no matter the philosophy, political structure, culture, religion, race, gender, sexual orientation we have failed and continue to fail and not only do we continue to fail, but we continue to fail in almost exactly the same way for exactly the reasons.
To date none of us has moved beyond our fear based wants that manifest again and again as greed, lust, slavery, environmental destruction, gluttony of every conceivable form; the new mad kings replace the old mad kings, each mad king still ruling arrogantly, blindly serving only themselves. And the few who have risen above, have either been killed, had genocide committed upon them or have been marginalized to the point that their ways and their teachings are lost or lose all meaning.
We have convinced ourselves throughout time that agricultural, industrial, technological advancement is progress, evolution it is not.
There is one way and only one way to transcend our ignorant vain decadence and that is to commit ourselves to LOVE, to PEACE, to UNITY with ALL LIFE. This is not new thinking this the thinking of our great masters from Buddha and Jesus to Einstein and Martin Luther King, as well as the way of the indigenous peoples from all around Mother Earth, whose cultures have become barely footnote in our legends written by the “victors”.
Yes I am pretty sure that the highly evolved beings will write as our epitaph in their books of wisdom simply this; Humanity – a species who failed simply because they refused to embrace fully the simple truth of LOVE.
just LOVE…

“Universal Peace, assuming it to be in the fullest sense realizable, might not require eons for its accomplishment, however probable this may appear, judging from the imperceptibly slow growth of all great reformatory ideas of the past. … Our accepted estimates of the duration of natural metamorphoses, or changes in general, have been thrown in doubt of late. The very foundations of science have been shaken.” ~ Nikola Tesla
