The Hero’s Journey is the archetype for all our stories told while in the endless masks of body. The journey breaks down into three fundamental elements; the separation, the initiation and the return. The separation, would be the leaving of the known for the unknown, like a young bird forced from its nest to the skies. The initiation is the trials and tribulations that are experienced during its odyssey, its flight. And lastly the return, where all that has been learned and discovered is brought back, to share with the tribe, the colony.
It occurred to me that at its very heart, the Hero’s Journey is the story of any experience of life itself. The separation, is being thrust into the unknown of the physical world from the known womb of infinite creation, where one is whole with God, with LOVE. The initiation, is the role of being alive we have come to play out in the duality, with all its pleasures and pains, joys and sorrows, lessons learned and treasures discovered. And ones death, is the return, where all that was experienced during the illusion of being matter, is taken back to share with the whole, before a new odyssey is chosen, a new story told, a new journey for God, for LOVE is taken.
We are all Hero’s telling LOVE, God’s tales of being for Infinity…
