She sat on the hill overlooking her beloved Golden Gate, watching the lights of the city by the bay sparkling through the foggy darkness and then she looked up and out into night’s farthest reaches the stars shining farther than her eyes ability to see and she thought; as beautiful as the city she had come to call her mortal home these many years was, nothing could compare to the sublime awe inspiring wonder of her true home, the home of her soul the endless infinite.
For once a being has remembered their true self as LOVE and Infinity, there is no putting that Genie back in the bottle of the finite shell of the mind and body. All man’s childlike manifestations and machinations now seeming like nothing, but ever so fragile castles built in their tiny make believe boxes of sand.
No, for her there was no returning to the confinement of the confused ego thinking of the illusion of man, not when she had an eternity in LOVE in which to seek out, in every moment, every aspect creation’s divine glorious grandeur. Yes, this was indeed forever her true home, she knew this because this is where and only where she felt no longer alone…
“Where we love is home – home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.” ~ Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.
