Not Again!

If someone some day were to ask me; if I had to do this experience all over again would I? And I think sadly, unfortunately I would have to say; No! Because for me this experience of being has not only been like watching a beloved one agonizingly slowly, painfully, suffering die, but to actually feel them as they slip, terrified beyond all reason, into an inevitable oblivion they never remembered how to accept. So they hung on fighting surviving, never living, until from them the undeniable absolute that is Infinity their last breath stripped. And most tragically to know their ceaseless misery was almost entirely of their own desire.

just LOVE…
Can I see another’s woe,
And not be in sorrow too?
Can I see another’s grief,
And not seek for kind relief?

Can I see a falling tear,
And not feel my sorrow’s share?
Can a father see his child
Weep, nor be with sorrow filled?

Can a mother sit and hear
An infant groan, an infant fear?
No, no! never can it be!
Never, never can it be!
