To war against a being who represents the very things we despise and fear the most, is but to war against oneself, for the very things we despise and fear most in the other being, are but those aspects of our selves we loathe most. One cannot conquer their shadow self, by attempting to war against it, for war is just a tool of fear that will only make your darkness stronger, until finally ones light is faded and they become more shadow than light. No, the way to conquer ones shadow, is for one not to try to conquer it all, but rather embrace it with all the LOVE one is, remembering there is no light without darkness; unified, duality no more, healed, one becomes whole – this holds true for both the individual and the collective.
